If you’ve been following along, we have been refurbishing a dresser for our big boys. The first blog entry detailed my hubby’s hard work stripping the old red paint… and the surprising other two layers underneath the red paint.
My hubby has now primed the dresser.
And, he painted it with the first coat of red paint. We are using Valspar Latex Enamel in Gloss Cherry.
This is how it looked as the first coat was applied.
See the nasty yellow? Ugh.
All of the drawers.
It’s still looking a tad like orange rather than red so it will need at least a second coat.
Hopefully, by next week, we will be finished with the dresser and be able to blog pictures of the finished project!
