Eggnog Milkshake.

There are some super controversial topics in life.
Politics.
Religion.

Egg Nog.

Yep, eggnog is definitely a “love it” or “hate it” drink. Me? I loathe it. My husband, on the other hand, is an eggnog fiend.

My wifely duty beginning the day after thanksgiving is to find the store with the best deal on Southern Comfort Traditional Egg Nog and buy it every week.

As his Friday night, “you survived a week being an amazing husband and dad to five CRAZY kids,” his treat for tonight is… Egg Nog Milkshake.

So. How’d this madness come together?

Here’s our group of main characters:

16 oz Southern Comfort Traditional Egg Nog

1.5 Frozen Bananas

1-2 Drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential Oil

Dash of Ground Cinnamon (if desired)

Pint Ball Canning Jar

NutriBullet

1. We began with these beautiful frozen banana pieces and the NutriBullet. (If you haven’t pampered yourself by buying a NutriBullet, WHY NOT?!?!? Seriously. One of my fave kitchen tools.) Make sure the banana is in pieces small enough to fit in NutriBullet.

2. Place banana pieces in NutriBullet.

3. Oh my gosh. They look soooo lonely. Never fear, bananas, here comes the good stuff.

4. Pour in 16 oz of Southern Comfort Traditional Egg Nog.

5. Tighten the bottom/lid of the NutriBullet. **Don’t leave this loose at all… just take my word for that. Ain’t nobody got time for Egg Nog Milkshake covered kitchen.**

6. Align the notch on the cup with the groove in the NutriBullet.

7. Press down on the clear cup portion of the NutriBullet and allow your delicious milkshake to blend away. It’ll only take a minute or so.

8. Remove the clear cup from the bottom of the NutriBullet.

9. At this point, my husband just wanted the cup. “Hand the cup over.”

10. Pour your Egg Nog Milkshake into your Ball Canning Jar. But wait. This is when it gets REALLY good and extra tasty.

11. Add 1-2 drops of Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential Oil.

12. Garnish with a light sprinkle of Ground Cinnamon, if desired.

13. Enjoy. 🙂

14. Share this video with your friends.

That looks really good, and I don’t even like egg nog! My husband does though, I think I’ll make him one. Thanks for the idea!
