Day 2.

Today, my new routine got thrown for a loop. I am trying to eat every 2 hours to keep from feeling hungry. I had a job interview and a therapy appointment. Between the two of them, I totally missed my afternoon snacks. I felt it.

Here’s what I did:

Breakfast:

3/4 cup of Pumpkin Cheerios and 1 cup of 1% milk. Black coffee.

Lunch:

Whole wheat tortilla with 1 oz leftover turkey breast and 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Toasted. 1/2 tablespoon barbecue sauce. This was my tribute to a BBQ pizza since I’ve been craving one. I missed my red onion… It is definitely time to hit a grocery store. Banana.

Dinner:

Leftover chili from yesterday. Listen, we are doing this healthy eating journey on a budget. We’ve finally finished the chili so we will see a new dinner tomorrow.

After Dinner Snack:

1 frozen banana blended in the Nutribullet and topped with 1/8 cup of Kind Granola. SOOOOOOOOOOOO YUMMY!

Water: 100 oz.

Movement: a little over 6,500 steps and 12 flights of steps. I’m anxious to get past the post-op phase and actually exercise.

I also thought I’d talk about my overall theory for this new lifestyle. If you’ve read my blog at all, you know I have fallen in love with essential oils. When I started using them, all the talk was how to help illnesses with them. Since that time, the government stepped in and said we couldn’t talk about using essential oils for illnesses. We can only discuss how they support normally functioning systems. It is definitely a mentality shift.

However, this is the influencer for my new lifestyle.

I am focusing on wellness. I’m moving towards eating more “whole” foods (Please don’t judge the journey! It’s a slow transition to whole foods!!) and letting foods maintain our health. I’m also using supplements to support my systems.

My Supplements:

Ningxia Red: 2 oz of this wolfberry goodness daily. Great for total body support.

Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother): 1 tablespoon per day. I usually do this in the afternoons when I have a sugar craving. Soooo many other benefits to using ACV. Google away. 🙂

Vitamin D3: I’m a fair skinned, red headed lady. This is in my genetics. Must feed the Vitamin D supply.

Life 9: This is a probiotic that has 17 billion live cultures. Talk about gut health. I’ve been reading about the importance of gut health so I’m focusing on it.

Slique Essence*: I put a drop in my water. It tastes like Spearmint and supports healthy weight management. It’s slightly sweet so it helps, again, with my sugar cravings.

Adrenal Roller: 10 drops Nutmeg and 30 drops EndoFlex topped off with Coconut Oil. My doctor highly recommended I support my adrenal glands as a basis for my weight management goal.

Liver Roller: 30 drops of JuvaFlex and 10 drops Lemon topped off with coconut oil. Your liver cleanses your body of toxins and supporting my liver is top on my list for this healthy living journey.

Citraslim*: one packet of powder capsules in the morning and one packet of a powder capsule and a liquid capsule. This supports healthy weight management.

Day 2 down!!!

Results: I am DEFINITELY seeing results. Great energy. The scale IS moving and my leggings were loose around the waistband. My rings are fitting better also. Very pleased!
